As VP of Technology and Operations, Rick has over 17 years of experience leading technological innovation within the financial services sector. At Symboliq Wealth Management, he is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of our practice's enterprise technology roadmap. Rick specializes in integrating next generation fintech solutions to empower our financial advisors, enhance our client experiences, and drive operational efficiencies for staff at our firm.

During his previous tenure at Atria Wealth Solutions, Rick worked with an industry powerhouse that was acquiring other broker-dealers. There, he played a key role in building a cutting-edge technology platform, while integrating and streamlining operations across a growing network of firms that joined them.

In his role as Systems VP of Project Management, Rick quarterbacked a major initiative to modernize Atria’s client-facing platform through policy and procedure development. He also facilitated the implementation of a data analytics framework package that provided advisors with deeper, data-driven insights into client portfolios. This led to an increase in successful client meetings, higher client satisfaction metrics, and an overall reduction in operational costs.

Through the years, Rick’s experience and leadership have been critical in aligning new technology investments, architecture, and readiness with a firm's growth goals. He joined Symboliq in 2025 to lead a technology team focused on new infrastructure development, operational preparedness, and business expansion while ensuring our financial practice remains at the forefront of the evolving wealth management landscape. 

Rick holds a bachelor’s in business management from Cazenovia College. In 2016 he earned his MBA from Empire State College and obtained his (PMP) Project Management Professional certification in 2023.

Rick resides in Estero, Florida with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching his son’s hockey team, while playing and participating in local leagues and tournaments himself.  He also enjoys automotive projects, woodworking, and metal fabrication, often building custom furniture and mechanical equipment in his spare time.
